Nominate a Peer Facilitator.
We are looking for sophomore through senior undergraduate students and graduate students who are passionate about helping to create a safer community at IU!
Please consider nominating sophomore through senior undergraduate students and graduate students whom you believe are a good fit for facilitating It's On Us: Alcohol and Consent bystander intervention presentations to first-year undergraduate students on-campus.
This program will be mandatory for all first-year undergraduate students and sessions will take place in the residence halls during the fall and spring semesters. Each session will be facilitated by two peer educators.
Peer educators will be in the position for one school year. This position will be paid. Students will be expected to work 7-10 hours per week, which includes:
- Facilitating 3-4 presentations
- Weekly team meetings
- Other projects as assigned
A 30-hour mandatory training will take place from Thursday, August 23rd to Sunday, August 26th, 2018, with a follow-up 5-hour mandatory retreat in January 2019.
Nominations are due by Monday, April 9, 2018.
