Nominate a Peer Facilitator.
We are looking for sophomore through senior undergraduate students and graduate students who are passionate about helping to create a safer community at IU!
Please consider nominating sophomore through senior undergraduate students and graduate students whom you believe are a good fit for facilitating It's On Us: Alcohol and Consent bystander intervention presentations to first-year undergraduate students on-campus.
Starting in the 2017-2018 school year, this program will be mandatory for all first-year undergraduate students and sessions will take place in the residence halls during the fall and spring semesters. Each session will be facilitated by two peer educators.
Peer educators will be in the position for one school year. This position will be paid. Students will be expected to work 7-10 hours per week, which includes:
- Facilitating 2 presentations
- Weekly team meetings
- Office hours
A 30-hour training will take place in early September 2017, with a follow-up 8 hour training in January 2018.
